Ultrasound

Upper GI Endoscopy

PEG Tube Placement

ERCP

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure used to evaluate diseases of the bile ducts and pancreas. It involves the insertion of a flexible tube through the throat into the small intestine to visualize and treat conditions.

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Flexible sigmoidoscopy is a procedure that allows your doctor to examine the rectum and the lower (sigmoid) colon. Using a flexible tube inserted through the anus, this procedure helps in detecting abnormalities and screening for colorectal conditions.

Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy is an invasive procedure in which a long, flexible instrument called a colonoscope is used to visualize the entire inner lining and mucosa of the colon and rectum. It is an effective method for screening, diagnosis, and treatment of colorectal diseases.

Fibroscan

A Fibroscan is a type of ultrasound that measures the degree of fibrosis in the liver, providing immediate results. It is a valuable tool in assessing liver health and guiding treatment decisions.

Urea Breath Test

The urea breath test is a rapid diagnostic procedure used to identify infections caused by Helicobacter pylori, a bacterium associated with gastritis, gastric ulcer, and peptic ulcer disease. It detects the presence of H. pylori based on its ability to convert urea to ammonia and carbon dioxide.

With over 20 years of experience, Prof. Muzaffar Latif Gill is a distinguished professional in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is known for his dedication, integrity, and continuous pursuit of knowledge. Prof. Gill obtained his MBBS Degree from Nishtar Medical College, an esteemed institution of teaching excellence (1979-1985), and further enhanced his expertise with an M.D. and MS from the USA. He holds prestigious credentials, including being a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology. Prof. Gill serves as a Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology, as well as the CEO of Islamabad Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr Rabia Tariq

Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist

She completed her MBBS from UHS. She has done her Fellowship from College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan in the field of Gastroenterology. During her training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from Pak Emirates Military Hospital she acquired skills that are core to understanding diagnosis and providing better treatment.

Currently working as Consultant Gastroneterlogist at PAF Hospital.

She is a graduate from Rawalpindi Medical College with distinction in Biochemistry and Special Pathology . She has experience of 2year Internal residency from Shifa Internal Hospital and 3year residency in Gastroenterology from Pak Emirate Military Hospital . Currently she is working PAF Hospital as Consultant Gastroentrology and Hepatology .
Aims: to provide best medical services to mankind and help to reduce their sufferings.
